Obvious Health Indications That You're Stressed Out

When you are overly stressed, your body is bound to act up. Thus, you are expected to feel adverse physical symptoms such as the following:

Literal Headaches

Too much stress, on its own, is already a headache (connotatively speaking that is). But this term could have stemmed from the fact that stress, in actuality, does cause your head to throb and tighten, resulting to what is known as tension headaches. Characterized by a tightening across the forehead and neck while affecting both sides of the head, stress is the sole culprit behind tension headaches.

Vulnerability to colds and flu

When you're overtaxed, your immune system would weaken. Such is the effect of stress overload. Hence, you become vulnerable to illnesses, especially common ones like colds and flu. The weakness results from your body's inability to combat viruses and bacteria because of its frequent bouts with stress.

Sleep Troubles

Ironically, even if stress can be incredibly exhausting, it can deprive you of sleep. Whether you are having trouble falling asleep or you keep waking up mid-sleep, the overall effect of not getting your quality snooze time could negatively affect your health since your body isn't able to recharge itself properly.
